The Don Miguel App is part of the independent music project Don Miguel de Cabarete.
As the service provider, the operator is responsible for the operator's own content in this app in accordance with applicable law. There is no general obligation to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity, except where required by law.
The app contains links to external third-party services and websites. The respective providers are responsible for the content and data processing on those external services. The operator has no control over subsequent changes to third-party content.
Content created by the operator in the Don Miguel App is subject to applicable copyright law. Third-party content, trademarks, logos and media remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
The software source code of the Don Miguel App is published as an open-source project under the MIT License. This software license does not grant rights to Don Miguel / Don Miguel de Cabarete branding, music, recordings, artwork, photographs, videos, logos or other media.
The app has its own Privacy Policy.

This privacy policy applies specifically to the Don Miguel App, an installable Progressive Web App (PWA). It describes the processing of personal data when the app is opened, music content is used, push notifications are activated or external services are opened.
The app and its backend are hosted using Render. When the app is accessed, technically necessary connection and log data may be processed, such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser/device information and operating system. This is necessary to deliver and secure the service. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation).
Music and video content is provided through YouTube, a Google service. When YouTube content is requested or played, a connection to Google/YouTube servers is established. Google may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information and interactions with the content. If you are signed in to a Google account, activity may be associated with that account. Google's own privacy terms apply to processing by Google.
Push notifications are optional and are used primarily to inform users about new music releases. Notifications are enabled only after the user actively chooses to enable them and grants the required browser or operating-system permission.
The app uses OneSignal, Inc. to provide web push notifications. OneSignal states that its web SDK may process identifiers and technical information such as IP address, unique browser identifiers, browser and operating-system information, language, time zone, network information, session/interaction information and information about push notifications sent.
The Don Miguel App does not intentionally provide OneSignal with your name, email address or precise GPS location for this push function. The legal basis for optional push notifications is consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling Notifications in the Don Miguel App and/or revoking notification permission in your browser or device settings. Withdrawal applies for the future and does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
The app uses PWA technology, service workers and local caching. Technically necessary files and settings may therefore be stored locally on the device to enable installation, reliable loading, updates and push functionality. The operator does not use this technical local storage for advertising profiling or cross-site tracking.
The app contains links to third-party music, streaming and social-media services, including services such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X. When an external link is opened, you leave the Don Miguel App and the privacy rules of the respective provider apply.
Some providers used by the app, including Render, Google/YouTube and OneSignal, are based in or may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. The respective providers are responsible for the applicable safeguards for international transfers under their contractual and privacy arrangements.
The operator stores personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or required by law. Service providers may retain technical data according to their own retention policies. OneSignal states that, on its free plan, dormant push subscribers may be deleted after 18 months of inactivity.
The Don Miguel App is an open-source software project. Its source code is intended to be publicly available on GitHub under the MIT License. Access credentials, API keys, push-service secrets and other confidential deployment values are not part of the public source code and are managed separately using protected environment variables and repository/deployment secrets.
Publishing the source code does not publish personal user data. Don Miguel branding, music, recordings, artwork, photographs, videos, logos and other media are not released under the software's MIT License.
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.
